Myvi Lover!

I have been driving Perodua Myvi for about 5 years and until now, when people ask what car that I love most, I will said, Myvi!  My father bought Myvi in 2005 where I was in Form 4 and at that time, my Myvi colour is green, the old green, the first version of Myvi.

This colour is chosen by my mother and she drove this Myvi at that time.  But when I want to further my degree in 2010, I need to stay in Puncak Alam, because of my course is moving to Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Puncak Alam.  I rent a house there and I need to bring a car because at that time, the place is still new and there are not many bus over there.  Then, my father send the car to the workshop and ask to change the colour the pink colour, and get the same code colour as the new Limited Edition Myvi at that time.

Many of my friends thought that my car was the Limited Edition one because the colour is exactly same as the Limited Edition, but actually the original colour is green :)

I love Myvi because I think only Myvi is a compact car that is just nice.  Even now when Proton come out with compact car which is Iriz, and Perodua also introduce Axia to replace the Viva, I still did not love those new cars.  I am still in love with Myvi even I have involve with some accidents with that car, but this car is just too strong even it is small and cute!

I've been thinking a lot of things that have changed in my life.  One of it is about the things that I love to watch.  Why? Because now I can watch movies and shows that I love without worrying the showtime on the Astro.  Back years ago, Astro have no PVR.  What is PVR?  It stands for Personal Video Recorder.  I always frustrated if I cannot watch my favourite movie or dramas that are showing out on Astro because of I am not at home, hanging around with friends, or have a class on that day.  

But now, I feel that I will not be worried about my favourite movies or dramas! All of this because of PVR.  Astro has upgraded their system and introduce the PVR so everyone can record what they want to watch later.  I am now following the Malay Telenovela on Astro Maya HD which the title is 'Memori Cinta Suraya' and this drama is showing out everyday from Monday until Friday from 6.00 p.m. - 7.00 p.m.  Usually I am still not going back home at that time because I am staying at library to finish the assignments, so that I will record the drama for the entire series so it will automatically do the recording everyday at 6.00 p.m.  When I get back at home at night, I will watch the episode that have been recorded.  Thank you Astro for upgrading your system and make it easier for people like who love to watch the series drama :)

Advantages and Disadvantages of Social Networking for Students

Social networks are the main application under the social media.  Social media is the fastest growing web application in the 21st century.  The wide nature of applications like Wikis, video streaming and applications, and social networks makes it the phenomenon of the century.  Facebook users beat all social media applications with over 955 million users in 2013, followed by Twitter with 500 million users (www.thecountriesof.com).  This shows that these applications are very important.

Social networks are becoming main tools for education, and entertainment.  The human nature is keen on interacting with people and finding common areas and interests.  For students, the use of social networks is for tool supporting activities which believe to be important for the purpose of educational institutions, instructors, and students.  Besides that, there also may have a bad influence social network inflicts on students behaviors and time management.

Most students suffer from this.  One of the major disadvantages of using social networking websites are the students get addicted to it.  Instead of doing their homework they tend to fail their academic endeavors because of using it in the wrong way.

Some students may tend to use to these social networking sites till mid night or even more which can obviously lead to health related problems, it may have a negative effect on both mental and physical health of individual.

ILLEGAL CRIME, VIRUS ATTACKS

Opens up the possibility for hackers to commit fraud and launch spam and virus attacks.  Increases the risk of people falling prey to online scams that seem genuine, resulting in data or identity theft.

NEGATIVE EFFECTS ON WORKER PRODUCTIVITY

RELATIONSHIP PROBLEMS

Social networking can also ruin relationships as people may get jealous if they found out their boyfriend or girlfriend is exchanging messages with other people.  Update of our friend on social network also might give negative effect on relationship.

Waze Lover!

I am a Waze lover! Why? Because i travel everywhere using the Waze Application.  Waze is the world's largest community-based traffic and navigation application.  By connecting drivers to one another, waze help people create local driving communities that work together to improve the quality of everyone's daily driving.  

I am a person who loves to go out for shopping, hangout with friends, and so on. I have many friends in Kuala Lumpur (KL) but i did not know many places in KL because I live in Klang.  When my friends in KL ask me to go there and hangout with them, i will not be a problem to me as I know I can depend 100% on Waze! I heard some people said that Waze sometimes ask them to follow the wrong or longer route, but I told them, I never misguided by the Waze and I always found the place where I want to go with the help of Waze.  For me, Waze did not ask to follow the longer route, but Waze always bring the driver to the route with no traffic, usually the Waze will bring to a shortcut route such as resident area, without using the main route.

Waze also will give the driver an alternative ways, so you cannot blame the Waze if the route is longer or shorter.  I guess the people who always blame Waze application is people who actually did not know how to use the Waze.  Waze will give several options of route to follow, so you can choose them.  Besides that, if there are vehicle stopped by, road block, construction area, or police, Waze will inform automatically! How Waze can notice this? Because there are drivers who are using Waze and reported it to the Waze so that the other drivers will get the information.  See, Waze is the best application ever!
