HTC Technology and Why I choose HTC?

HTC was the first company to build phones based on Google's Android mobile operating system, and its current generation of Android smart phones is able to compete with Apple's iPhone on features and price. In 2012, the company introduced the EVO, the world's first phone to take advantage of 4G network technology for lightning-fast Web browsing and new applications like live video chat.

Strategy:

HTC's close ties with google allowed it to dominate the market for Android smart phones early on, but the  company has recently lost market share to competitors like Samsung and Motorola.

It is now trying to build on the success of its first 4G offering with plans to build next-generations phones for all the major carriers and 4G technologies which are Sprint's WiMax network, T-Mobile and AT&T's HSPA+ networks, and the recently announced Verizon LTE network.

I am using the HTC Desire Eye phone as in the video above.  Before i decide to buy a new phone, i am doing some research about smartphone that have better front camera because now it is a trend of people for using the front camera to take a picture.  At first, I want to buy iPhone 6, because everyone knows that iPhone camera is better than others.  I ask my friends, colleagues, and my family about my choice, but they were disagree with me because they said that iPhone is not a fancy phone.  They afraid I will become bored when using the iPhone because they know I am a person who like to personalize everything in the phone, for example, the font type, font size and so on.  Because of that, I start to do some research on HTC Desire Eye and iPhone 6 because they suggest me to buy the HTC Desire Eye.  I found many comparison between HTC Desire Eye and iPhone 6 and the writer compare this both phone based on the Screen, Design, Price, Power, Camera, Battery and Connectivity.  As I want the best camera, I just focus on the camera part and it conclude that the front-facing 1.2MP camera on the iPhone 6 really does not compete with the Desire Eye at all,  because Desire Eye front-facing camera is 13MP and there is also an obvious difference in low-light performance that easily gives the Desire Eye the edge.
